C.A.R.E.S Update from Elliott
Christmas was extra special for all third graders at Greensville Elementary School. Elliott Sadler Enterprises, CARES Sponsor, delivered books and candy canes to students prior to them leaving for the holidays. ESE representatives Angie Sadler and Linda Slate took time to wish all 200 students Happy Holidays and deliver their Christmas presents.

CARES (Children are Really Extra
Special) is a special project developed in the early 1990's by the
Greensville County Education foundation. This program provides local
businesses with the opportunity to be paired with a grade of
children and participate with those children through their
graduation from high school. The mission of CARES is to feed to the
emotional and social needs of the children in Greensville County
Schools. CARES is designed to supplement the high academic
standards set by the state. Elliott Sadler Enterprises adopted a
class three years ago when his niece Halie Dru Sadler was in
Kindergarten. ESE is impacting the lives of over 200 children
in the third grade.
