ELLIOTT SADLER QUOTES:
“It’s great to be going home. Growing up in Southern Virginia, I came to
Richmond as a fan when it was a half mile. I was actually here the day they made
it a three-quarter mile track, so it’s always special every time I get to come
up here. A night race at Richmond is spectacular.
“Working with the COT can be challenging. The COT (Avenger) is different than
the Charger. If the Charger is a little bit tight, you can make it a little bit
loose. If it is a little loose, you can do things to the car to make it a little
bit tight. With the COT, what you’ve got is what you’ve got. If the car is
tight, it’s tough to free it up. If the car is loose, it’s going to be difficult
to tighten it up. It’s difficult because it’s new to us and we all want to jump
right in the racecar and be fast right off the bat.”
