Virginia Lottery
and Hermie Sadler Team Up Again
The
Virginia Lottery and Virginia native Hermie Sadler will be teaming together
again to provide NASCAR fans attending the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at
Richmond International Raceway on May 3 a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Sadler, who currently serves as an analyst for NASCAR on SPEED and DirecTV "Hot
Pass" drove NASCAR Sprint Cup cars sponsored by the Virginia Lottery in 2001 and
2002.
“I am very excited to be working with the Virginia Lottery again", stated
Sadler. "I look forward to visiting with our fans at RIR on May 3 and having
someone join me at the "Raceday" set. It will be a memorable day for some lucky
fans."
“Hermie Sadler and the Sadler family are very good friends of the Virginia
Lottery,” said Lottery Executive Director Paula I. Otto. “Their businesses in
Virginia have helped the Lottery raise funds for Virginia’s K-12 public schools.
Now we are delighted to team up with Hermie for this exciting event.”
This year, Sadler will sign autographs at the Virginia Lottery tent located near
gate 30 at 3:00 pm on Saturday May 3; participate in a question and answer
session with fans in the Green Flag Zone at 4:00; then escort one lucky fan and
a guest on an all-access backstage tour of the NASCAR "Raceday" on SPEED set.
Fans in the Green Flag Zone can enter the contest with a non-winning $5 Virginia
Lottery Scratcher ticket. The drawing will be held at 4:15.
The winners will also receive merchandise and prizes autographed by the "Raceday"
crew, including Jimmy Spencer, Kenny Wallace, John Roberts, Wendy Venturini, and
Sadler.
